Main Bearing Question.. ??? 11PSIGSR

11psi, you are using federal mougal bearings correct ?
-I have bought a set also, My problems is on the main bearing cap. On the bearing itself there is the tab that holds it in place ( keeps the bearing from moving side 2 side ) the tab is on the outward side of the bearing. But on the Main caps, the tab needs to be in the middle of the bearing. What should I do ? anyone have a suggestion,
-and I already know I should buy Honda bearings. but I'm not going too just yet...

Maybe you just have the wrong bearings.

Hmmm... I understand what you mean. The 'tab' is centered on all main bearings in the Hondas. It sounds like you recieved a set of rod bearings instead.
